Codi Galloway

LD15-B

Codi Galloway is a mom, business owner, outdoor enthusiast, and former elementary school teacher who believes in a conservative government in Idaho. As the Republican candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives in District 15B, she will prioritize making the Idaho economy strong through a business friendly environment, keeping taxes low and improving education.

Elementary School Teacher

After graduating from college, I got my first job as a public school teacher. For three years, I taught kids how to think for themselves, use data to solve problems, and communicate effectively. My favorite part of teaching was helping kids find their individual strengths and capitalize on their unique abilites.

Wife and Mother to Four Kids

I married my high school sweetheart, Scott Galloway, and we came back to Boise to start our family. Our first three kids were born in under four years! I was their stay at home mom and loved watching my little ones grow.

Profitable Business Owner

When my kids went off to Pioneer Elementary, I decided I was ready to go back to school too. Instead of returning to the public school system, I started my own school. Together, with my husband, we opened LeapFox Learning on the corner of Eagle Rd and Fairview. With hard work, a few mistakes, and some good mentoring we grew LeapFox into one of the largest technical training schools in Idaho. I count building a profitable business from scratch to sale as one of my key accomplishments. I lived the American dream and now have a deep admiration for all those who take risks and work long hours, with or without a paycheck, to keep our economy rolling.

Outdoor Girl who loves her Family and Faith

I love to be outside! You might catch me with my kids on skis at Bogus in the winter or Lucky Peak in the summer. We like them both! In the past few years, I have been racing Spartans with my husband, the Boise Ironman with my friends, and climbing mountains with my family. Connecting with people outside and being active brings me great joy. Sunday mornings you will find me with my family in church. I have been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life.

Representing My Boise Neighborhood

I was born to a fighter pilot dad and a patriotic mom. From the time I was a little girl I was taught to honor and respect the freedom we enjoy in America; I love the USA and am proud to have called Idaho home for the past 40 years. I went to kindergarten in this district and watched my son graduate from Centennial High School in June. My husband and I chose to raise our family where we grew up, because we love our community! Idaho is a great place to live, work and play, but if we are not careful, we will become an over-governed, red tape state, with high taxes and sub-par opportunities in education.

I am a conservative mom, teacher, and business owner who is committed to keeping Idaho a great place to be!
