What:  The election of FIVE Independent School District of Boise Trustees

 

When is the BSD Trustee Election?  Tuesday September 6, 2022

 

Who Can Vote in the BSD Trustee Election?  A registered voter who has been a resident within the Boise School District Boundaries for 30+ days.

Can I Vote Absentee?  Yes – using one of three methods:

  • Walk-In:  Available at the Boise School District Services Center, 8169 W. Victory Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2022 through Friday, September 2, 2022.
  • Written:  The ballots will be available for mailing on Monday, August 1, 2022.  An application for a mail in absentee ballot may be requested at any time up to August 26, 2022. The following information must be included in the written request: voter’s full name, Boise address (must match voter registration), the address to which the ballot should be sent, and signature of elector (digital signature is acceptable). This information will be used to confirm your voter registration.

Can I Vote Early?  Yes.  Early Voting starts on August 22, 2022 at the Boise School District Service Center on 8169 West Victory Road, Boise ID

Which Trustee Seats are Being Voted?  And Which Registered Republicans are Running?

  • Race #1 is for a SIX-YEAR Term – voters will VOTE FOR TWO candidates in this race.  Registered Republicans in this race include Krista Hasler and Greg Woodard.
  • Race #2 is for a FOUR-YEAR term and voters will VOTE FOR ONE candidate.  Registered Republicans in this race include:  Andy Hawes and Neil Mercer.
  • Race #3 is for a TWO-YEAR term and voters will VOTE FOR ONE candidate.  Registered Republicans in this race include:  Nate Dean, Todd Kurowski and Elizabeth Langley.
  • Race #4 is for a TWO-YEAR term and voters will VOTE FOR ONE candidate.  The Registered Republicans in this race is Steve Schmidt.
